Caso 10 – Chrysler
1-

debido a préstamos bancarios.

Chrysler
Group’s day-to-day operations are managed by a highly skilled and motivated
management team. As part of the reorganization of its management, experienced
leaders were drawn from both Chrysler Group and Fiat and the organizational
structure was flattened. To facilitate collaboration and enhance speed of
decision-making, two management committees chaired by Sergio Marchionne, the
Chief Executive Officer of both Chrysler Group and Fiat, meet regularly to
consider significant operational matters. The Product Committee oversees
capital investment, engineering and product development, while the Commercial
Committee oversees matters related to sales and marketing. Both committees
include managers from each of the company’s brands (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram,
Mopar, SRT and Fiat), all of whom also have separate functional
responsibilities across all the brands. We believe this structure further
fosters cooperation, information sharing and timely
decision-making.

Community Partnership
Since June 2009,
Chrysler Group LLC has announced investments of more than $4.5 billion in the
U.S. and Canada, added nearly 9,000 jobs, and has made significant progress
toward building a successful enterprise. Beyond these brick and mortar
investments, we believe that it’s our duty to also invest in the health and
welfare of the communities where we live and work.
Reinvesting In Your Community and Ours
Each year,
Chrysler Group’s Community Action Day initiatives mobilize hundreds of
employees for intensive, one-day community outreach projects that address
urgent social, economic and educational needs. In 2011, the Company’s numerous
community service projects touched the lives of over 208,000 children, youth
and adults living in our communities.
In partnership with the United Way and other
non-profit agencies, our employees have helped provide basic needs such as
clothing, food and shelter; raised funds for educational scholarships; mentored
young people; helped Special Olympics athletes realize their dreams;
revitalized schools, community centers and neighborhoods; and delivered
priceless smiles and cherished toys to children during the holiday season.
Ultimately, no matter the project or the reason for
volunteering, Community Action Days are about creating responsive, healthy and
attractive communities for our employees, our neighbors… everyone.

That’s why the Chrysler Minority Retail Dealer Development program was created

African-American, Hispanic, Asian, Native American and Alaskan descent, with a
demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit.
The program provides assistance to ethnic minority
general manager candidates who have automotive retail experience but lack
sufficient capital to operate and own a dealership. We recruit and place
qualified ethnic minority general managers into Chrysler Marketing Investment

Honoring Those Who Serve - Past and Present
Chrysler Group is proud to support the men and women
of the United States Armed Forces, both at home and abroad. Chrysler currently
has 24 employees on active military leave; among Chrysler Group’s U.S.
employees, about 195 people are currently active or inactive Reservists and
3,982 employees are veterans. Chrysler Group has numerous military related
programs emphasizing community growth, support and gratitude throughout the
United States and the world.
The Chrysler Group brands have long been an integral
cog in our nation’s fight for freedom. Consider the Jeep® brand: Born of American ingenuity and
tested in the heat of battle in jungles, deserts, and battlefields during World
War II – the hardworking and loyal Jeep® 4x4s garnered heroic praise and
unwavering devotion from allied soldiers the world over. One Jeep® vehicle
was even awarded the Purple Heart for meritorious valor and duty. The Dodge
brand contributed mightily by producing a large percentage of the Army’s
fighting wheeled vehicles including large six-wheeled troop and cargo
transports, light command cars and ambulances. The Chrysler brand can trace its
military support back to the 1930s. As a designated major U.S. defense
contractor, Chrysler has at one time or another produced everything from
Sherman tanks to B-29 bomber engines, from all types of military vehicles such
as ambulances and amphibious trucks to antiaircraft guns, shells, missiles, and
even field kitchens and refrigerators. Read more at

About Chrysler's Leadership Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
Chrysler historically has been a leader in promoting diversity throughout its enterprise. The Company was named one of the "100 Best Companies for Working Mothers” by Working Mothermagazine 12 times, and has been recognized five times by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation as one of the country's leading corporations supporting diversity and inclusion.
Since 2009, Chrysler Group has been named to HispanicBusiness magazine's annual Diversity Elite 60 list for implementing strategies to reach more Hispanic customers and to pursue more business with minority- and Hispanic-owned suppliers.
Early in 2010, CEO Sergio Marchionne assumed the role as executive sponsor of Chrysler's Global Diversity Council and reaffirmed the commitment of Chrysler's leadership team to the values and principles of diversity. "Culture is the fabric that holds organizations together. It is not just an ingredient for success; it is the essence of success itself," Marchionne wrote. "This is why my leadership team and I are committed to creating an atmosphere where all of our people feel respected and valued, because every person plays an important role in shaping our future, including employees, our supply base, our marketing and our dealer network. Chrysler Group LLC and its people have a future with promise. We will reach the full measure of that promise only as one, united diverse team."
In March 2011, the editors of DiversityInc magazine named Chrysler Group to the magazine's 2011 list of "Top 50 Companies for Diversity." This coveted annual benchmark is comprised of companies the magazine's editors believe are diversity-management leaders. This was the fifth year since the list was established in 2001 that Chrysler has been included.
In April 2011, Chrysler Group was named among nation's "Top Supporters" of Engineering Programs of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, recognizing the Company's efforts in developing, recruiting and hiring talented students pursuing technical careers at the nation's minority-serving institutions.

b) Revisión
de la misión y objetivos actuales
Considero
a) Alternativas
estratégicas
§
ideal
c) Cómo
